“So it wasn’t a capacity issue, it was just a power issue. It was a posturing issue. There were, there was a black hostess, yes, and a black chef came out, there were black patrons seated down. I’m not saying Houston’s doesn’t serve black people. But what I’m saying is that when black people stand on strength, when Africans in America posture up and act like the God-given original people we are, it somehow offends other people we’re just strong. Even we’re respectful, articulate, well-spoken, and communicate properly, they still have an issue we don’t just obey the rules. And that’s the culture here at Houston’s”
