Hosuh worked sleepless nights in an exploitative animation studio with tight deadlines (hence his eyebags), however the money wasn't enough to get him by, Hosuh, worried started taking out loans just so nobody had to worry about him.

Stephen is a kind of influential YouTuber and that's almost the only change to his backstory otherwise he still got scammed by a certain someone and ended up in serious debt.

In the first part (0:02 - 0:06) the shadows are towards Stephen since Hosuh is afraid of him especially after his "betrayal". The light is towards Hosuh because Stephen saw him as a source of light before he voted O.

The third part (0:12 - 0:22) Hosuh wishes for a perfect body, while being around Stephen he noticed he lacks praise and fans (only in this au) and Stephen wishes for a perfect soul since he saw Hosuh as the purest a man can be in these types of games (the bar is kinda low ok). He precives Hosuh as kind-hearted and naive which he likes. However Stephen can admit he, himself, is nothing of that sort which pains him at times.

Also an upside down white heart is a monsters soul in Undertale! Youwch, Stephen your self-opinion ain't lookin too good...

In this part is where they're both truly at ease, Hosuh also has the part with the flower crown but that's only Thanos' perception so I wouldn't count it...

In this part (0:35 - 0:39) Hosuh is wearing a flower crown consisting of white roses which symbolize Purity and Innocence however eventually Thanos' views shift and they turn black (wow that might be called withering) which basically means his previous perception is breaking apart)
