In this short video, I present the foundations of Humanist Digital Art — a global artistic movement that already exists, alive and present across the web, but which until now had no shared name.

For years, creators around the world have been using digital tools to speak to the human condition — through poetry, visual writing, socially engaged imagery, and hybrid forms that emerge online.
I choose to name this reality: Humanist Digital Art.

This video offers a concise, poetic, and accessible introduction to the concept, to help artists, researchers, and audiences understand and recognize the movement taking shape.

Humanist Digital Art
A new artistic movement ?

The novelty is not
the movement.
It is its name.

For years, artists have
been using digital tools
to speak to the
human condition.

On social media,
on blogs, across platforms,
works have emerged —
intimate, social, political.

A living movement
already existed,
but without a shared
language to describe it.

I have chosen to name
this reality:
Humanist Digital Art.

An art form where
technology becomes
a sensitive language
serving the
human experience.

Memory. Fragility.
Silence. Courage.
Emotions. Inner light.

Digital poetry,
socially engaged imagery,
instapoetry, visual writing,
hybrid forms on the Web.

An art that bears witness,
denounces, and listens to
the fractures of the world.

To name is to gather.
It is to give coherence
to a global movement.

Humanist Digital Art exists.
Today, it has a name.
