The 60th Anniversary of the birth of the Stratocaster is celebrated with some very special Limited Edition guitars including the very well thought out Classic Player model. Fender celebrates the diamond anniversary of one of the world's greatest electric guitars with the Fender 60th Anniversary Classic Player '50s Stratocaster. This model features a distinctively classic '50s era combination of a Desert Sand gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish with gold hardware and a gold Anodised Aluminium scratchplate. Other premium features include a double cut-away Alder body and a Maple neck with "soft V" profile, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and vintage-style heel-end truss rod adjustment.

The Fender 60th Anniversary Classic Player '50s Stratocaster has other quality appointments such as a Maple fretboard with 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets. Sound comes from the three American Vintage Strat single-coil pickups that are managed via five-way switching, there's also aged white control knobs, a two-point synchronised tremolo bridge with vintage-style stamped steel saddles and vintage-style locking machine heads. Fender's 60th Anniversary Classic Player '50s Stratocaster comes with a Pro series hardshell Tweed case and a special commemorative book is also included.
