In this video, Craig introduces you to the plated steel, CP Series Pulleys. These cable pulleys are ideal in applications where harsh environmental conditions may be present, or where durability is an essential priority to the overall mechanical cable application.

CP Series Pulleys by Sava are produced in sizes as small as 1/2 inch (.5) in diameter, up to 2 inches in diameter. Ideally, these plated steel sheaves yield the best cable life when the wire rope making contact with the pulley is coated in nylon, which ensures the cable filaments do not make direct metal-on-metal contact with the pulley itself.

CP Series Pulleys are manufactured with either an open or shielded ball bearing construction. In the open variety, the interior components of the ball bearing assembly are exposed in plain view. By comparison, if debris, dirt or other foreign matter is present, a closed or as mentioned, "shielded" ball bearing option is recommended.
