MOST Remote Village in EUROPE (Mestia & Ushguli, Georgia)

Описание к видео MOST Remote Village in EUROPE (Mestia & Ushguli, Georgia)

In this video of Living the Jo Life, we visit two of the most spectacular and unique places in Georgia, Mestia and Ushguli, which are a 6-7 hour drive from both Batumi and Tbilisi. First, we explore the alpine town of Mestia, which is surrounded by beautiful snow capped mountains, lush green valleys, waterfalls, and the famous Svan towers dating back more than 1000 years. Also known as a winter skiing destination, Mestia offers plenty of accommodation, restaurants and cafes options. It takes an additional 2 hours to drive to the remote towns of Ushguli, which is located at 2,200 m above sea level and is inaccessible during winter due to the poor road conditions. Located at the foot of the Caucasus mountain range, Ushguli is surrounded by natural beauty, but it is the remoteness, historic vibe, rustic buildings and the sheer number of Svan towers that makes this place so special. Despite the remoteness of Mestia and Ushguli, we can highly recommend visiting these unique and beautiful locations: a truly amazing experience.

Here is a link to the AirBnB that we stayed in. It was clean, cozy and had the most amazing view.
