Schafberg | Schafbergbahn: Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang an der Schafbergspitze [4K]

Im September haben wir den Sonnenauf- und untergang an der 1780 Meter Schafbergspitze genossen. Bequem kommt man mit der Schafbergbahn bis kurz unterhalb des Schafberghotels. Diese Jahreszeit eignet sich ganz wunderbar für einen Aufenthalt sofern das Wetter passt. Es ist während des Tages sehr warm und man kann direkt am Hotel ein wunderbares frühes Abendessen auf der großen Terrasse genießen.

Hauptgrund unseres Aufenthalts war der Blick auf die Schafbergspitze zu Sonnenunter- bzw. aufgang. Beide Ereignisse waren wunderbar und aufgrund des 360 Grad Blicks findet sich je nach Bedingungen immer ein passendes Objekt.

Bei Übernachtung im Schafberghotel gibt es ein Kombi-Ticket (das Schafbergarrangement) in welchem sowohl der Parkplatz an der Talstation am Wolfgangsee, als auch die beiden Fahrten mit der Schafbergbahn und die Hotelübernachtung inklusive Frühstück enthalten ist. Für den angebotenen Preis unserer Meinung nach uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel selbst ist das älteste Berghotel Österreichs, welches bereits 30 Jahre vor der 1893 eröffneten Schafbergbahn errichtet wurde.

In September we spent one night at the Schafberg which is 1780 meters above sea level. This time of year is perfect for a stay if the weather is right. It is very warm during the day and you can enjoy a wonderful early dinner on the balcony at the hotel.

The main reason for our stay was the view of the Schafbergspitze at sunset and sunrise. Both events were wonderful and due to the 360 ​​degree view, there is always a suitable object depending on the conditions.

If you stay overnight at the Schafberghotel, there is a combination ticket (the Schafbergarrangement) which includes both the car park at the valley station near Wolfgangsee, as well as the two journeys on the Schafbergbahn and the hotel accommodation including breakfast. In our opinion, for the offered price , it is highly recommended.

The hotel itself is the oldest mountain hotel in Austria and was built 30 years before the Schafbergbahn, which opened in 1893.
