Fun. Upscale. Practical. Those are the three words that readily come to mind when I hear Mazda3. For good reason too. Mazda knows themselves - they are a company of driving enthusiasts. Their customer base? Driving enthusiasts.

This thrill for driving is apparent as soon as you get behind the wheel of the current Mazda3. From the way the seat contours you, the controls all fall at hand and the speedometer rhythmically beats prior to starting the engine - you just know this is going to be good.

The are four trim levels for 2017. Sport, Touring, Touring 2.5 and Grand Touring. The latter two come with a 2.5l 4cyl engine good for 184hp. regardless of which engine you choose or whether it's a sedan or hatchback, the transmission choices are the same - a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed automatic.

Newly available this year are things such as a heated steering wheel and the i-ACTIVSENSE® safety suite which now includes Land Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition in addition to everything that was included previously.

Whichever Mazda3 you decide upon G-Vectoring Control is standard. This electronic system imperceptibly blips engine torque to help load the correct axle when in a corner to "glue" the car to the road. It's a marvelous system and it works beautifully.

Yet again Mazda has improved upon their vehicle lineup and the Mazda3 shines ever more brilliantly than before. Don't take my word for it however, go and test drive one yourself and see what all the hype is about. You may just find that you fall in love with driving all over again.

Grappone Mazda is located in Bow, NH just south of Concord and only 20 minutes from Manchester. Conveniently located at the intersection of I89/I93 - come see why we are Driven to Amaze!
