It's the battle of the 2 most popular Hot Hatches in Tier 1! With both having the most power and acceleration in Tier 1. The Golf R has superb acceleration while the Giulietta has great handling, which will win?

GRID 2 [HD] 720p PC Multiplayer Face Off Race gameplay with keyboard using a Tier 1 Upgraded Volkswagen Golf R. In this face off, I'm going against the Alfa Romeo Giulietta which is also upgraded. Both of these cars are grip cars, the duel match is on Cote D'Azur, Saint-Laurent.

Upgrades on this car is 2 levels in engine and 3 levels in handling while maintaining the Tier 1 class. Note that the review of this car will be based on the upgrades I'm using. The car's performance will change if you choose another upgrade route. Upgrades on the Giulietta are 3 levels of engine and 2 levels of handling.

GRID 2 Multiplayer is totally a separate portion of the game. You start from scratch and earn money and level up. You save up money to buy cars and upgrades, and by leveling up, unlocks new cars to buy. Cars in Multiplayer are upgradeable.

Review:
The Volkswagen Golf R is a hot hatch that is unlocked at level 2 and can be upgraded at level 3. It cost (if I have not mistaken) 25,000 credits. It's handling is classified as grip and it's 4WD. In this video, I will compare certain stats with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

Pros:
The best acceleration and power in Tier 1. It also has great stability with it's 4WD system. The combination of acceleration, power and stability makes this car a very popular choice. Keep it mind that the Giulietta has almost equal power with the Golf R, but lacks the acceleration due to FWD drivetrain.

Cons:
This car has serious understeer issues, literally. However the Giulietta can slide much easier which makes it's handling much better than the Golf R. If you are using the Golf R, you really need to slide this car or the understeer will severely slow you down. Use a combination of brakes and handbrakes to slide the car.

Verdict:
This is a great early level car to have with it's superior power, acceleration and stability. However you have to avoid using this car with tracks that have long corners as the understeer will slow you down. You have to slide this car around to be fast, otherwise go for the Giulietta instead.
