So you want to start teaching a language online because you're so tired of depending on a big platform. Good for you!

While many marketers and coaches will tell you that if you don't have a website you're not legit OR unless you have a website you will never get clients, I've coached plenty of teachers that made money without having a website.

And let's be frank for a moment here. If all you've done is work for a big platform that did everything for you, including marketing, what are you going to put on your website? You have very little idea of how you can help people and even though you've taught thousands of lessons, that's not what sets you apart as an online teacher.

Before you think you're doomed, take another look. Not having a website at the beginning of your website is such a huge weight off your shoulders! You can focus on building your audience and selling a variety of services, as well as creating and launching products without having to cough up $10-$50/mo on website maintenance (not to mention extra plugins).

If you want to invest in your business, put it where you know you'll get a return.
