Hey there, thanks for tuning in, hope this video is helpful and informative. I've been making VFX in Unity for about 5 years now and have spent all of that time working on Last Epoch. (go check it out, we're launching 1.0 in a few months!). Over the years I've tried my hand at making uber vfx shaders multiple times, as it seems difficult to find ones that work well in Unity. This is my most recent attempt at it, and my effort to share some of the knowledge I've gained and pass it along to other VFX artists and game devs.

In order for this to work you'll need Unity, Shader Graph, and then Needle Markdown. It will work without Needle Markdown, it'll just be less pretty. (and we're all vfx artists here, we like pretty stuff)

Needle Markdown for Unity: https://github.com/needle-tools/shade... super useful tool, his github is very helpful. Keep in mind, its free for personal use but requires a commercial license.
