Product: The Shortcut Overnight Facial Peel by Versed
-Disclaimer: I received this product as a gift from the company, but my review is honest and unbiased.
-It can help you achieve brighter, smoother, and healthier-looking skin. It is specially formulated to manage oily and acne-prone skin, minimize large pores, lines, and wrinkles, and fade dark spots.
-It contains two of my favourite acids - glycolic and lactic acid - that work together to gently exfoliate the skin and increase collagen production.
-Glycolic acid, being the smallest molecule, can penetrate deeper into the skin layers, making it the most effective acid for treating various skin issues. However, it may cause irritation and sun sensitivity, so make sure to use sunscreen while on glycolic treatment.
-I prefer chemical exfoliators over mechanical ones, as the latter can damage the outer layer of the skin and weaken the barrier lipid.
-It has a simple yet effective formula that does not contain dye or fragrance, making it ideal for all skin types.
-It is quick-absorbing and non-greasy, leaving your skin feeling smooth and supple. However, if you have acne, rosacea, or sensitive skin, I recommend patch testing the product and slowly incorporating acids into your routine.
-It is formulated with good moisturizing emollients, such as Allantoin, glycerin, shea butter, and tocopherol. It also contains Rosa canina oil, which is rich in vitamin E and C.
