We are very satisfied with the image quality of this TV set.
I always calibrate TV set’s and monitors myself with a DataColor Spyder tool.

This TV set has, like the previous TV set (the LG 43UM7450PLA) that we reviewed last time at our channel, two IFS image profile choices in its Image Setup menu.
One is for dark, and one for bright environments.
In those two image profiles, most settings are automatically set to neutral or even off for features that you really don’t want to use when calibrating an image.
I like a warm image with natural sharpness and colors and as less processing as possible.

The image this TV set produces is contrast-rich, colorful and sharp, and is again a big step up in image quality from our previous reviewed TV set (the LG 43UM7450PLA, which we where also very satisfied with at it’s price point, and still are, using it at our bedroom.), of course, you would expect this around it’s price range and being the latest model.
