Vidushi Suranjana Bose is a renowned exponent of the Khayal and Thumri styles of classical Indian music, belonging to the Patiala and Benaras Gharanas respectively. She has earned recognition as a top-grade artist of All India Radio and several prestigious awards, including the Sangeet Kalabid Award, Jadubhatta Award, and Sarvottam Kalakar Award. Her performances are characterized by her impeccable mastery of both the technical and emotive aspects of her art, making her a beloved and respected figure in the world of classical Indian music.

Esteemed as one of the proponent dancers, Sharmila Biswas redefined the grace of Odissi. Through her versatility, traditional Odissi dance ambits to 'experimental choreographic work', thus shaping up new forms and mediums to express this unparallel yet contemporary dance form. Recipient of the prestigious 'Uday Shankar Award' and the senior most disciple of the celebrated, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, believes that “our classical dance forms hold a vast heritage of knowledge, yet it need not be mummified pieces of movements and expressions.”
