Toshiba V-2 Bulb Replacement

In this video I share a trick I figured out to replace a burn out bulb in my truck dash.

The Toshiba V-2 is simply a bulb holder, NOT the bulb. It houses a fairly standard and common #74 bulb. There are other numbers that cross-reference to a #74 bulb.
This video shows you how to remove the old bulb and "pop" in a new one. The bulb itself is small and difficult to pull out with your fingers. I found that using a thumb tac to pry out the old bulb is simple and very easy.
The replacement #74 bulb costs only a few cents and there are 12 Volt LED options available that are direct replacements for the incandescent bulbs Beware to check the length of the LED bulb, they tend to be longer than the incandescent bulb and may not fit into the original installation.
