A random batch of season tickets for two Sooners fans turned into a friendship spanning nearly three decades.

Two Sooners fans have seen four head coaches, a national championship, divorces and deaths of loved ones while sitting together.

Meet David Talley and Kasey McComas. They're Sooner born, Sooner bred, and they say they'll be Sooner dead.

"We're the biggest die-hard Sooners fans," said McComas.

"She's got the best lungs of the whole stadium," said Talley. "Nobody can yell louder than Kasey."

Talley has had season tickets for 50 years and it has been 32 years for McComas, but the two met for the first time at an OU game in 1998 when she was right out of college.

It was at the west side of the stadium in the Sooner Savers seats.

"When you first sit down next to someone, you don't know if you're going to become friends," said McComas. "You don't know if they've been there forever. You're just sitting in your new seat."

They've sat together through four head coaches, losing seasons, and a number of wins, including a national championship.

David had gone 21 years without missing a game until he faced tragedy.

"The hardest part of my life was this year when I lost my wife, and we buried her last month, so, I missed a couple of games," said Talley.

But Kasey was there to help him through the toughest time in his life by sitting next to her best friend.

"I wasn't sure if he'd come to the next game, and I was so happy that he did so then I could give him a hug and remind him he deserves to have fun, and do his favorite hobby: watching OU football."

Talley was there for McComas too through her divorce.

"When you have your life blow up like that, it's nice that there's a constant, and OU football is a constant, and then my buddy David is a constant," said McComas.

Other college football fans have bonded with the pair of Sooner soulmates after her Facebook post showcasing their friendship went viral.

"It's their family," said McComas. "It's your game-day family. When you sit next to someone for decades, they're a part of your life."

What's next for these Sooners? They'll be cheering for a win, of course.

"My prediction is it's OU 17-10," said McComas. "24-17 because it is going to be a close game," said Talley.
