Bad news for Mumbai citizens. Mumbai has been ranked as the second most polluted city in the world, overtaking even the national capital of Delhi. This is based on the world air quality rankings between January 29-February 8. The data was sourced by a Switzerland based IQ air, that relies from data shared by the Central Pollution Control Board. Mumbai had an AQI of 163. A major reason for the pollution is vehicular and construction dust and also factories and power plants.
