A few casual clips with some notes and musings on one of the best boletes I've ever had: Tylopilus alboater. These are only found east of the Rockies, and MN + WI are at the very western edge of their range. These are rare where I live, but are more common the farther east you go.

You want to look in areas that hold water with red oaks, grassy clearings. If it looks like a good spot for porcini, they might be nearby. If you live east of the Rockies make sure to put this one on your list!!
