Joshafat "The Truth" Ortiz (7-0, 4KOs) takes on Joshua Orta (6-0, 2KOs) in a 6-round junior lightweight battle of undefeated prospects. The scheduled bout will be featured on the Takam vs. Forrest card, July 9th 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT live on ESPN & ESPN Deportes from the MGM Grand Conference Center - Grand Ballroom (Las Vegas)

Puerto Rican native Joshafat Ortiz who now fights out of Reading, PA looks to take full advantage of the tremendous opportunity presented to him on such a big platform (ESPN).

Ortiz took the fight on 11 days notice and puts his unblemished record on the line vs another undefeated prospect on the rise in Joshua Orta. With a great team behind him and a hunger for more, Ortiz feels confident in his ability to demonstrate exactly why he belongs on the big stage.

Ortiz will be under the instructions of Rashiem Jefferson and Greg Hackett who happen to be some of the most beloved and respected coaches out of Pennsylvania.
