Ingredients:

Green gram (Moong dal): 150 grams
Whole green chillies: 4
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Crushed garlic : 1 teaspoon
Chopped coriander: 1 tablespoon
Chopped curry leaves: 1 tablespoon
Dill leaves (soya ki bhaji): 3 tablespoons
Diced onions: 3 tablespoons

Prcedure:

1. Soak green gram or moong dal for about 3 to 4 hours.

2. Drain the water thoroughly and leave this soaked and drained green gram in a sieve for about 20 to 30 minutes till all the water is drained out.

3. Into this drained green gram, add whole green chillies and salt and grind roughly(do not use water).

4. Into this ground green gram, add crushed garlic, chopped coriander, chopped curry leaves, chopped dil leaves or soya and add diced onions.

5. Mix well (Do not mix with wet hands, this may affect the consistency).

6. Add oil for frying. When the oil is hot, mold the ground paste into flat and medium thick round bhajiyas. (Again do not use water or wet hands for molding).

7. Lower these bhajiyas into the oil and fry on both sides till they turn light brown.


Moong dal Bhajiye or Green gram and Dill leaf fritters are ready.
