In the late 1920s and into the 1930s the place to be for Hollywood's leading men was the elegant Oviatt Building. Constructed in 1927 it was the city's tallest and is still in use in the heart of downtown LA. James Oviatt had his bachelor penthouse on the top floor. Later in life he married and settled in with his wife.

It has remained virtually unchanged in all that time.

Many Hollywood celebrities book the penthouse to host parties and entertain friends. It is also used for weddings.

Take a tour of this fascinating artistic gem that is a part of the cultural history of Los Angeles and is still happening to this day.
