In 2022, Maurice Clement began a complete recording of César Franck's 12 Pièces for the AEOLUS label on the occasion of the composer's 200th birthday (10 december 2022). This super audio CD edition will feature four different instruments built by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, which have been preserved almost unchanged to this day. The first two recordings were made on the organs of Saint-Maurice-de-Bécon in Courbevoie (1865) and Saint-François-de-Sales in Lyon (1880). In 2023, the remaining works will be recorded on the organs of Santa-María-del-Coro in San Sebastián (restored in the meantime) and of Santa-María-la-Réal in Azkoitia. These organs were built in 1863 and 1898 respectively. The release of the edition is planned for autumn 2023.
