In this penultimate Educational Episode, Margherita discusses the profound interconnectedness between humans and the Ocean. As a Research Professor in Law, she advocates for legal perspectives that reflect this interconnectedness. Margherita emphasizes the importance of transgenerational action, drawing inspiration from both scientific and indigenous knowledge, and reminds us that ensuring a shared future for all living beings requires legal frameworks that support effective ocean conservation.

About the Educational Episodes:
The Thalassophile Project's Original Pilots of Accessible 'Blue Education' aim to inspire adult education institutions by showcasing ways in which accessibility can be incorporated into their programmes. These educational materials were designed to directly inform and engage our target audience of individuals who are d/Deaf and/or visually impaired adults, while also promoting barrier-free access to marine science and conservation for adult educators.

The co-creation of the Episodes brought together scientific and conservation experts with specialists in multisensory education. This collaboration aims to help d/Deaf and visually impaired adults understand:

1) The importance of our seas and Ocean in the context of climate change;
2) Marine biodiversity;
3) The human impact on our seas and Ocean;
4) Actions each of us can take to increase marine sustainability
