As a public service to the people who have been speculating over who was "in on this" and who was not, I will refer all of you to this article written in 2007 by cast member Melanie Chartoff, with the whole inside scoop of how this sketch went down! I ask you all to read this article first, before you post your speculative comments. BTW, Michael Richards was brilliant when he walked off-set and grabbed the cue cards and tossed them in front on Andy!

(05.05.13) - On February 27th, 1981, Fridays' co-producer John Moffitt appeared on the show to offer his explanation as to what had transpired the week before with Andy Kaufman's bizarre behavior. Mr. Moffitt then brought Andy Kaufman out on the stage, so Andy could set the record straight. I have finally discovered my lost video tape of that show, and have just now uploaded it to YouTube!
