We meet up with our strength training coach, Alex Quesada and go through a pre-workout strength and activation routine with him and our performance director, Dennis Van Winden. Alex is helping us dial in our pre-race activation routine this season. Not only is he an absolute unit and wealth of knowledge of the human body, he also has bike handling skills that will blow your mind. After our strength session, he joins us for intervals on the mountain bike at Santa Coloma. Santa Coloma is about an hour ride from Girona, a mountain range with a maze of single track descents and steep fire-road climbs. A perfect spot for suffering.
