"Stained Glass" time-lapse - from dusk 'til dawn: "Golden Plover with Egg (Art Puzzle) - floral map"

Virtually every time you look at a stained glass artwork, it will be different - unlike conventional paintings or artworks - which practically always look the same.

This is a (faux) “stained glass” version of my “Golden Plover with Egg (Art Puzzle) - (Floral Map)” (see https://michaelautumn.wordpress.com/2...) - in openable clear cast acrylic display frame. This is a hand drawn imaginary coastal scene featuring golden plovers (23) – with 338 interlocking colour-line puzzle pieces, laser cut and engraved 5mm clear cast recycled acrylic, hand painted with the finest glass paints – and presented in custom made clear cast recycled acrylic UV-protective sandwich frame (see    • Making a UV-protective openable, hang...   for details).

Beautiful leaded stained glass has been with us for centuries – but it has its limitations. The fact that it must be structural and weatherproof means it needs fixed and rigid light-blocking supports and lead latticework – which can be used to great aesthetic effect. However, I thought I would combine my love for art puzzles with my love for stained glass - and bring a modern twist to the genre… (55cm (W) x 39cm (H) – artwork, excluding frame.)
This piece is not for sale, but this technique has infinite possibilities - and is very scalable. I can do commissions.
