New chapter in China! Typhoon Prapiroon exploded in Hainan, thousands were evacuated

Typhoon Prapiroon, the fourth typhoon of this year, made landfall in south China's island province of Hainan at 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Affected by the typhoon, Hainan Wanning, Qionghai, Lingshui and other cities and counties were hit by strong winds and rain.

The meteorological department predicts that after the typhoon moves into Beibu Gulf, it will move towards the Guangxi coast of China and Vietnam.
