This is a frontline update for the week of the 4th to the 11th December 2024. It covers the areas of #Kurakhove, #Pokrovsk, #Velyka Novosilka, Chasiv War, #Toretsk & #Kursk. In the southern Donbas front i.e. Kurakhove, Pokrovsk and #Velika Novosilka, the Ukrainians find themselves in multiple pockets with little time and space left to retreat. There is a cauldron south of Kurakhove in the Sukhi Yaly river behind Uspenivka. Then another south of Porkvosk near Novoolenikva and the final one behind Blahodatne on the west flank of Velika Novosilka. Russia has also captured Plehovo village and Darino on the eastern and western flanks of the Kursk salient.
