速度の遅い車が合流してきたら？大型トラック目線 Truck Driving

本線を走行中に合流地点に近づき、加速車線を使って合流してくるクルマが見えたら、減速や車線変更など状況に合わせて対処できるよう。可能であれば車線変更し、合流スペースを空けるようにします。合流が終わって走行状況が落ち着いたことを確認し、元の車線に戻りましょう。また車線変更が出来ない場合は、合流してくるクルマとのタイミングと被らないようにアクセルを緩めるなどして自車の速度を調整し、前走車との車間距離をとります。

If possible, change lanes to make room for a confluence. Make sure that the merging is over and the driving situation has settled down, and then return to the original lane. If you cannot change the lane, adjust the speed of your vehicle by loosening the accelerator so that it will not be overwhelmed by the timing of the merging vehicle and the distance between you and the preceding vehicle.
