Описание к видео Devolution of the Japanese Type 99 Arisaka Rifle

In this video, we look at the progression or "devolution" of Japan's Type 99 rifle from 1940 through 1945. We begin with the original long rifle manufactured by the Nagoya Arsenal and Toyo Kogyo factory, and then get into the various short rifles. We wrap things up with a look at several Substitute Type 99s or "last ditch Arisakas.'
This is a general overview, so for more detailed information, please checkout our Japanese Firearms playlist.

Featured Nagoya rifles include from Series 1, 6, 7, & 10.
From Kokura we have Series 24 & 25.
From Toyo Kogyo Series 30 & 35.
We have an early & late example from Tokyo Juki Kogyo Series 27.
Finally, a "Jinsen Special" from Series 40.
Also we discuss Izawa Jyuko & Howa Jyuko from Series 9, and the very rare Mukden Arsenal Series 45.
