Max "Blessed" Holloway is the former UFC featherweight champion and UFC BMF Champion. Max Holloway is one of the most beloved fighters in UFC history, with a storied career among legends. Max Holloway began his MMA career in Honolulu Hawaii on September 11, 2010, racking up a 4-fight win streak before his UFC debut in 2012 against Dustin Poirier. Unfortunately, Max Holloway lost his UFC debut to Dustin Poirier via triangle armbar. However, Max Holloway rebounded with an impressive 3-fight win streak before losing a split decision to Dennis Bermudez and another decision to future featherweight champion, Conor McGregor. Max would then embark on one of the most legendary win streaks in UFC history, defeating names like Andre Fili, Cub Swanson, Charles Oliveira, Jeremy Stephens, and Ricardo Lamas before defeating Anthony Pettis at UFC 206 to become the Interim Featherweight Champion. Max then fought Jose Aldo at UFC 212 to TKO Jose Aldo and Became the undisputed UFC Featherweight Champion. Max Holloway then finished Jose Aldo in the rematch at UFC 218 to become a defending champion. Then to put a stamp on a 13-fight win streak, Max Holloway finished Brian Ortega at UFC 231. However, Max would rematch Dustin Poirier for the UFC interim lightweight title and lose a decision to snap his win streak. Shortly thereafter, Max Holloway defended his title to Frankie Edgar before ultimately losing his title to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 245 in 2019. Max then had a strange era in his career where he had 2 more matches with Volkanovski, losing both, but still dominating the other contenders of the featherweight division like Yair Rodriguez, Arnold Allen, and the Korean Zombie. Max would clear any doubts of his skill when he fought Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 for the UFC BMF Title, where he knocked out Justin Gaethje at the very last second of the round to become the UFC BMF Champion.
