This documentary follows U.S. ophthalmologist Dr. John Haines of the Give Me Sight Foundation (www.givemesight.com) to Myanmar for his 25th annual cataract removal mission. On this mission, Dr. Haines travels with his long-time friend, and fellow ophthalmologist Dr. Somsran of Thailand, to the remote Tipitaka Eye Hospital. There, along with their respective teams from the U.S. and Thailand, they perform free cataract removal surgeries for the medically underserved. This documentary follows three patients as they make the journey from their respective villages to the Tipitaka Eye Hospital, where they get their eyesight returned, their self worth regenerated and their livelihoods restored.

This is a touching and inspiring story of international collaboration, friendship, and the will to help those desperately in need of clear eyesight. It serves as a reminder that simple acts of philanthropy can create life-changing results for people who need it most, in any part of the world!
