PES 2017 predicts UEFA Champions League Last 16 Second Leg Week 1 action as Arsenal take on Bayern Munich.

Arsenal will be hoping to avoid further embarrassment in the Champions League as any hope of progressing past Bayern Munich would require a miracle.

A 5-1 loss in the Last 16 First Leg encounter sees the Gunners with a mountain to climb if they are to have any hope of reaching the Quarter Finals of this seasons Champions League. Arsenal will need to score at least four goals without reply to reach the quarter-finals. The only team to recover from a 5-1 defeat were Real Madrid, who beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-0 in the 1985/86 UEFA Cup third round to progress on away goals.

Elsewhere Barcelona also find themselves with huge problems as they face the daunting task of trying to overturn a 4-0 first leg defeat against PSG.

Also, trailing 1-0 on aggregate, Borussia Dortmund will look to maintain their 100% home record against Portuguese opposition when they host Benfica in their second leg.

And finally, Real Madrid hold a 3-1 first leg lead as they host Napoli for their second leg match up. Holding a 3-1 lead should in theory mean that Madrid have one foot in the Quarter Finals, however they have surrendered that exact lead several times in the past.

Real Madrid have previously held such a lead eight times going into UEFA club competition second legs, and have made it through on only four occasions – two of them back in their run of lifting the first five European Cups.
