Ep 19 The Japan Chronicles 'Sensei Robert - Tokugen Dojo'

Sensei Robert Daoust is a long-time resident of Japan with a deep and rich history in Karate-do both in Canada and Japan.

He started off his karate journey in Kyokushin up to the rank of sandan before venturing off into the world of Daido-juku under the instruction Azuma-Jukucho.

Over the last decade or so he has devoted himself to exploring the depth of Okinawa karate and combining all of his experience to form his own karate dojo.

Now, he runs his own dojo called Tokugen Dojo in Tokyo. He instructs in both English and Japanese to kids and adults. In this chat, we talk with Robert about his journey this far and how it has folded where he is at today.

Simply put, a must listen.
