The Best Project Management Software With Time Tracking

Project Management Tools

Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! In this video we're looking at some of the best project management tools that allow you to track time to your projects.

#1 - Hubstaff Tasks (1:45)
Hubstaff Tasks is a lightweight and intuitive Agile project management tool. Among its features, you'll find Sprints, Stand-ups and Kanban boards. You can create automated workflows and track time directly to a task with Hubstaff.

Pricing is also straightforward and simple. There's a free plan, which is great for freelancers, and there's a premium plan, which is $5 a month per user or $4.17 a month when billed annually.

#2 - Mavenlink (3:02)
Mavenlink packs a lot of functionality into its tool with a very strong focus on reporting capabilities and data visualization. As I said in the video, you need to think about how much time you want to spend creating custom reports and organizing all the data. If you're looking to spend less time digging through the numbers, you'll probably want to consider a different option.

#3 - Replicon (4:34)
Replicon is easy enough to use. However, I would say it has the most dated interface of all the options on this list. It's still very solid when it comes to things like reporting and general functionality.

#4 - Wrike (5:18)
Wrike is a well-rounded tool with a stylish interface. However, it feels a little complex when you first access the software. It's not something you'll be able to easily jump into using right away. Wrike offers great reporting options and an extensive list of integrations — if you're willing to pay extra. If you don't have access to their custom integrations, you have a smaller list of third-party tools available to you.

#5 - ProofHub (6:27)
Proofhub is another tool on this list with a straightforward interface. The getting started menu makes it easy to get the most of the product right away. This tool covers most of the reporting features and tracking features businesses need.

Pricing is a little confusing. There are a lot of different pricing options, and plans that include the majority of features get expensive pretty fast. The TimeBill Quick Start plan, for example, starts at $60 a month for up to 5 users. If you're a larger team and you want a lot of functionality, you will need to pay much more than other options on this list.

NOTE

*Clarification on the integrations section for Proofhub: I said seven third-party systems because they list Freshbooks twice. I was counting that as integrating with one tool, not two separate third-party tools.

#6 - Harvest (7:36)
This is the last tool on our list and it's another easy and intuitive option. I have personal experience with this software and I can say with some confidence that it will work just fine for you. The interface is a bit dated but easy to navigate, and you have exceptional integration options.
