I had a chance to return at Pietra di Bismantova & try again a route called Bukowski which i closed some years ago.
Pietra di Bismantova is a striking sandstone plateau located in the Apennine Mountains of Italy, specifically in the province of Reggio Emilia. This unique geological formation, rising steeply above the surrounding green meadows and rolling hills, has become a beloved destination for nature lovers, hikers, and rock climbers alike.
Climbing at Pietra di Bismantova offers a fantastic experience due to the combination of its natural beauty and diverse climbing routes. The rock face presents a variety of climbing opportunities, from beginner-friendly routes to more advanced, technical ascents. The cliffs are mostly bolted sport climbing routes, though there are also options for trad climbing.
The setting is breathtaking: climbers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding meadows, forests, and distant mountain ranges, making it a serene environment. Beyond climbing, the area is rich in flora and fauna, and it’s a peaceful retreat for those who enjoy hiking or simply being immersed in nature.

Additionally, Pietra di Bismantova holds cultural and historical significance, as it was mentioned by Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy, which adds a layer of mystique to this natural wonder. Whether you’re an avid climber or someone who enjoys the outdoors, Pietra di Bismantova offers a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility.
