Trained aviator and motor enthusiast Dorothy Orr has been the sole owner of her green Triumph Spitfire since 1968, when she bought it brand new from a Long Beach dealership. She loves to drive her Spitfire up windy mountain roads, preferring the rhythm of the curves over speed. Dorothy wanted to keep the car as original as possible, her only modifications being the parent-mandated roll bar installed shortly after purchase, and, years later, a new transmission.
