Clemson outfielder Cam Cannarella was selected 43rd overall by the Miami Marlins in the 2025 MLB Draft. Cannarella has shown incredible contact skills at the plate and has the ability to spray the ball to every corner of the field. Even after increasing his fly ball rate starting in 2024, his bat-to-ball ability has not wavered. He has the speed, range, and route-running all project him to remain in centerfield and to be a good defensive centerfielder as he rises up the ranks to the big leagues. He should be someone who should be a productive contributor for the Marlins within a few years.
