Описание к видео 1st RECORDING OF: Groovy Kind Of Love - Diane & Annita (1965)

American vocalists Diane Hall and Anitta Ray had performed with the Ray Anthony band as ‘The Bookends’ several years prior to their waxing of this tune, based upon a melodic passage in Clementi’s ‘Sonatina in G Major, op. 36 no. 5’ and credited to songwriters Toni Wine & Carole Bayer (Sager). Strangely, the track was issued only on the French EP “One By One.” In 1966 the song became a major hit for the UK group The Mindbenders:    • 1966 HITS ARCHIVE: A Groovy Kind Of L...   and again in 1988 for Phil Collins    • A Groovy Kind Of Love

Original issue on (French) Vogue EP 18035 - Groovy Kind Of Love (Toni Wine-Carole Bayer) by Diane & Annita
