Attorney Thomas DeVore has dealt with similar cases against mask mandates in Illinois, but he claims many people are missing the point. DeVore says it has nothing to do with masks, and everything to do with due process. He's added more than 145 school districts as defendants, including Carlyle, where the board initially ignored the state guidance before reversing course after being placed on probation. Governor JB Pritzker claims he is taking advantage of parents.
