A Woman's Place is in Her Home grew out a year of research including audio interviews, story circles, visits with houseless women, conversations with advocates, volunteers, social services, police, elected officials and community members. Writers Jacqueline Dandeneau, Ali Freedlund and Tammy Rae Scott worked collaboratively to develop the script with the Ensemble using theater, dance and media to bring the research to life. The production was presented and produced by Playhouse Arts and the Arcata Playhouse. This was originally created for the 30 anniversary of Arcata House Partnership.
