HOW TO REMOVE 1998+ CHEVY S10 DASH BEZEL AND RADIO

In this video I cover the important steps you must take to successfully remove the dash bezel without breaking it! As well as removing the radio to do a double din touch screen radio with reverse camera (installed in a separate video)

This dash bezel can be found on the following
-Chevrolet S10
-Chevrolet Blazer
-GMC Sonoma
-GMC Jimmy
-Oldsmobile Bravada
-Isuzu Hombre

The most important thing to do is remove all the screws BEFORE trying to pull the bezel off THIS IS HOW THEY GET BROKEN

The only tools you are going to need for this job is a 7mm socket
Step 1- remove 4 screws in knee panel, pull knee panel down
Step 2- remove 2 bezel screws located under knee panel and one screw right above the gauge cluster
Step 3- gently try to pull the bezel loose in several different locations
Notes- if you have a tilt column, lower it down. If you have a column shifter, lower it down.
Step 4- unplug any electrical connectors from the bezel
Step 5- use remove mounting screws around the face of the radio
Step 6- unplug antenna and electrical connectors from the back of the radio
