Watching You Without Me - Kate Bush Cover 🕕

Kate Bush Hounds of Love album was released on this day yesterday (maybe even the day before depending on when this uploads) but I failed at achieving an acceptable video to honor this mind blowing, insanely creative, perfect, amazing album that changed my life forever. Thank you Kate Bush for your authentic art. This is one of the songs on the latter half of the album, “The Ninth Wave,” which tells the story of a person lost and floating alone at sea. The story is vague enough that it leaves room for the listener’s imagination on how/why the person is in that situation. It’s awesome 😼 Watching You Without Me in particular paints a picture of this person literally watching their loved one waiting for them to arrive home like they are there in the room with them, but the aren’t, and so the loved one cannot hear them crying out. It’s beautiful, but hard as hell to translate all of the atmospheric ambient synth into an acoustic cover but I sure tried my best! Love you Hounds of Love 🫶 love you Kate Bush 🙏
