We drove the most Beautiful Road in Alaska! If you head towards Valdez you will get to experience both Thompson Pass and Keystone Canyon. Both of these places NEED to be on your list of must see places while visiting Alaska.
This drive is not only incredibly beautiful, but it takes you to Valdez, a small town rich with fishing and wildlife surrounded by massive mountains and bluish green ocean waters.
You will not be disappointed with the many views and many waterfalls. We were lucky enough to drive through the end of June when wildflowers were out. Give yourself plenty of time to drive this road because you will be stopping a lot take photos.
