Authentic American Hamburger in Thailand: Burger Bro Bangkok

The two types of food that Dagwood misses the most in Thailand are undoubtedly Mexican food and burgers. It's not that they do not exist in Thailand, specifically Bangkok, it's just that you may overpay and find the taste to be inauthentic. After decades of hit-and-miss research, Dagwood has finally found a hamburger in Bangkok that comes close to meeting his standards, and that is "Burger Bro".

Dagwood is American so the order was a BEEF burger though you can also order chicken, pork and lamb. If you are from New Zealand, Australia, or somewhere in Europe (Who knows where you're from, not Dag) Burger Bro may or may not have your hometown flavor but from an American's perspective the burgers are tasty and appear handcrafted. No telling if they use fillers in the beef but they do taste better well done because the inside can be mushy if you ask for a rare burger.

Is there a better burger in Bangkok? Maybe, but the sides are some of the best in Bangkok and the sweet potato and steak cut fries Dagwood ordered were fresh with a crispy outside. Burger Bro claims to butcher and grind their own meat, barbecue their own chickens and make their own sausages for the chili dogs (which are tasty and have that Chicago "Snap" to the bite).
