Here's an ad for Pet Coolie fruit drinks - are they drinks for pets? No, that's just the confusing company name. You'll find them in the dairy case - wait, do they have milk in them? No, again that's just to confuse you.

They come in three flavors as the jingle sung by a chorus of kids helpfully reminds us: lemon, orange and fruit punch. And the best part? You don't have to mix it like Kool-Aid.

This brand was sold in certain parts of the country (namely, south of the Mason-Dixon line) at least as late as 2010. This is the commercial that everyone remembers though.

"Coolie in the morning, Coolie at lunch..."

This aired on local High Point/Greensboro/Winston-Salem television on Tuesday, May 9th 1978 at about 10:53am (Eastern Daylight Time).
