In the last few days, we’ve received some exciting updates straight from the Genshin Impact 5.2 beta! Developers are testing a brand new team setup with Mavuika, Citlali, Chasca, and the Pyro Traveler that looks to change up team roles with an off-field and shield-focused approach. Plus, there’s news on a potential Elemental and Physical DMG Bonus cap increase, and preload data might soon be shrinking by three times!

Let’s dive into what we know so far:

New Team Composition : Reports from Flying Flame reveal that Chasca takes the on-field DPS role, dishing out the main damage, while Citlali, Mavuika, and the Pyro Traveler play essential off-field support roles. With Citlali’s Cryo shield capabilities, this setup could minimize the need for a healer, emphasizing protection and shielding.

Elemental & Physical DMG Bonus Cap : Coming soon, we might see an increase in the damage bonus cap, giving your Elemental and Physical DMG an exciting boost! Stay tuned for more on how this could change builds and character strengths.

Smaller Preload Data : Updates may soon reduce the preload data size by up to three times, saving space and making updates smoother for all players.

What’s most intriguing is that the Pyro Traveler’s role is still somewhat of a mystery. Traditionally, the Traveler gains the current region’s element quickly, yet the Pyro Traveler’s full release isn’t expected until version 5.3. For now, this new team setup gives us a glimpse into how Natlan’s influence may shape the Pyro Traveler’s kit and role.

If you’re as excited as we are for the next phase in Natlan and the new builds possible with Mavuika, Citlali, and the Pyro Traveler, make sure to like, subscribe, and hit that bell for all the latest Genshin Impact updates! 🔥
