Aaron: Hi guys, it's Aaron.

Kristina: And I'm Kristina.

Aaron: And we're professional dance instructors here in New Your City.

Today, we're going to be continuing in our fox trot series taking a look at the promenade. This one is a great alternative to what you've seen before when we used the corner step, again, to change direction or to just get us travelling in another direction. What we're going to do, start this in close position with our partner.

We're going to take one basic here, slow, slow, quick, quick. From here, we're going to pretend as though we can no longer go any further down our line of dance, so we're going to change that and turn to what we know as promenade position. From here, we're going to take a step forward on our left foot, and a right for the ladies, and walk down the street together. Walk, walk and then, turn side together to face our partners.

Side, together and then, just repeat that. Walk, walk and side together. Now, let's take a look at that one more time. Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, slow, quick, quick. Slow, slow, quick, quick. Now, let's try that with some music.
