Sara Cultural Centre in Skellefteå, which opened to the public in 2021, is one of the tallest wooden buildings in the world . The 20-storey building contains two theatres, an art centre, a library and many public spaces for people to meet. The vision for the cultural centre is to become the 'living room' of the city – a melting pot for ideas and cultural exchange.
