Feather Wing Hopper - Awesome Technique for wings - McFly Angler Fly Tying Tutorial

Earlier this week I made some wings for a hopper with a new technique I found on a website. I will link that video below for you to watch. But it sure made some awesome wings that just bring a regular old hopper to a whole new level. This really looks like the wings of a grasshopper and they are so simple to make.

So this isn't any specific hopper pattern. It's just a few different hopper styles mashed into one with the wings as a topping to it all. You could really add these wings to any hopper pattern, heck even using them for stonefly patterns, dragonfly wings (with different feathers maybe) and whatever else you want. But dont get stuck just on this pattern here, try the wings with other hopper flies and see how it works for you.
